Q. How does E-cv.com work?
Since nearly all hiring managers currently use email, we send both your cover letter and resume directly to their email boxes in order to elicit an immediate response. Each record we keep on our databases is updated daily ensuring a high-degree of accuracy during delivery. Unlike other services, we are able to target your information to specific industries. No matter where you choose to work, whether in a specified location, industry or salary range you can choose how and to whom you want your information to be delivered to.
Have you ever submitted your resume by mail? If you have you probably received a "form letter" type response which was produced by a computer. Although form responses are better than no responses, form responses generally indicate that your information has not yet been reviewed by the intended recipient. In fact the intended recipient (usually the hiring manager) will probably never see your resume until your resume matches the criteria for available job openings. This computerized method of qualifying candidates is good for corporations since it saves time but is bad for the job seeker. E-cv.com reduces this problem since information is sent directly to the hiring manager whenever possible making it unavoidable for them to avoid your resume. Furthermore we are able to increase the response rate since many of our database entries include both the first and last names of the intended hiring contact.
Once your information is received, potential employers and recruiters contact you directly by telephone, fax or email to make further arrangements. From this point onwards everything is left up to the job seeker. We do not guarantee that employment will result since we cannot control the quality of the candidates.

FAQ related to E-mail

Q. Why E-Mailing of resumes?
Career Networking Exposure - By sending your resume to thousands of potential employers and recruiting professionals by e-mail we can provide career seekers with the networking exposure needed to locate the ideal job. Since resumes are sent directly to hiring professionals, E-cv.com is able to avoid many of the computer filtering mechanisms that corporations typically employ to filter out unqualified candidates. Furthermore, the numbers of resumes (typically in the thousands) we send on behalf of the career seeker allows clients to beat the numbers game. This often makes the difference between just an average job and a great job.
Cost - Electronic mail saves career seekers money. With the advent of the Internet, corporations no longer require resumes submitted by regular mail. Since electronic mail does not involve printing, envelopes, stamps and handling of paper, substantial costs are obtained with far superior results. Our average cost per unit starts at just pennies. Compare this to regular mail! Furthermore many of our clients have commented that since the potential employers call them, they can avoid making long-distance calls, saving even more money!
Convenience and Speed - With electronic mail, information is sent directly to employers without the involvement of the post-office, secretaries and computer scanners. Responses from hiring managers are received almost as soon as the resume is sent. Plus with electronic mail you are able to receive inquiries directly in your own electronic mailbox saving you time and money.
Results - Studies indicate that 41 percent of online users check their email daily (ref. FIND/SVP) and 75 percent of online users used email in the last month (ref. Intelliquest). The power of the Internet has generated response rates of up to 1000% that previously obtained using conventional means such as mail, fax and telephone. We are pretty pleased with what our users have said about our service. Click here to see what our users have said about us.

Q. What will the subject line of the delivered email be?
The subject line will generally include your name and 3 descriptors. The descriptors are basically 3 phrases which can summarize the applicant's skills and qualifications.
Example 1: "Resume: John Doe - MBA / CFO / 10 years +" to describe an applicant by the name of John Doe with a MBA (Master of Business Administration) degree who is qualified to work as a CFO (Chief Financial Officer) and has more than 10 years work experience.
